This document will keep growing and being corrected; this page is its public change log. We record everything the reader can see: new chapters and figures, value corrections (with the reason), methodological changes and bug fixes — including those reported by readers. • The Hel Peninsula and the Vistula Spit are back on the maps — our thanks for the report to a reader from the Polish Claude Code group. The defect had two causes: the Eurostat GISCO geometry at the 1:3M generalisation models the Hel spit as two detached islands (we switched to the 1:1M edition), and the white voivodeship outline painted over spits narrower than its own width (the maps now draw internal borders separately from the coastline, so narrow peninsulas no longer vanish). All Poland maps were redrawn; the PDFs rebuilt.
• Chart SVGs and the PDFs now carry a short refresh time in the distribution network — every data correction is publicly visible within an hour.

23 August 2026 — project launch

• Both language versions published: polska.tkm.cc (PL) and poland.tkm.cc (EN) — initially 16 chapters and 101 figures, each with a source (link + date). Before publication every value went through two independent passes: collection from the most primary source available and adversarial re-verification at the source; a few dozen values were corrected at this stage (among them the number of Monuments of History: 133, not 183 — the first reading counted spatial-database rows instead of sites).
• In the evening: the "People" chapter (12 figures: median age, marriage and the family home, university, the working week, life satisfaction, languages, height, surnames) entered as chapter 3, and the former chapters 3–16 were renumbered 4–17. Ten cartograms arrived (population change 2015–2025, wages, unemployment, forest cover, protected areas, monuments, the 2025 run-off map, the 65+ share, foreigners in social insurance, among others), along with new navigation (a chapters menu and a numbered strip), a contact address and a layer for search engines and AI assistants (sitemap, structured data, llms.txt and the full text in llms-full.txt).
• At night: the picture deepened by seven figures — in "Shadows", attitudes towards LGBT+ people (CBOS series 2001–2024) and a table on minorities and state registers; in "Poland in Europe and the world", the map of the 22.1 m diaspora, the MFA estimate set against host-country censuses, the two temporary-emigration series 2004–2025 (deliberately not joined — different GUS definitions) and two figures on the Polish language in the world. 129 figures in total.
• Fix: the "In this chapter" links in the English version led nowhere (an identifier mismatch) — fixed across all chapters.
• Since this day tkm.cc and www.tkm.cc redirect to polska.tkm.cc.
